The Wrinkled Suit That Inspired the Hopsack Blazer

Once upon a time, a best friend of mine was getting married to a beautiful girl at a beautiful place near Mount Adams in Oregon.

But as his personal style resembled something of a disheveled lumberjack, he needed help dressing for the occasion.

To me, the solution was clear: he should wear a linen suit. An elegant classic that was his best chance of honoring the bride.

The wedding was fantastic, and everyone thought his outfit was a hit.  Everyone, except for me. You see, I was mad because although he looked great, his suit was wrinkled.

Linen does that. Look at it once, and BAM… it becomes a mess. A few wrinkles are part of the vibe. But, linen is known for taking it too far.

And, that’s why we’re here.

I just spoke to him the other night, and in fact I am still dressing him. As a school principal, outdoor trip leader, and busy dad he wears Bluffworks so he doesn't have to fuss with his clothes.
