- How do I care for my Hopsack Blazer?
- Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C) inside out, with like colors. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Low iron, if needed. Do not dry clean.
- How do I ensure my Hopsack Blazer always looks it's best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Hopsack Blazer be altered?
- Yes, it can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

I really liked the idea of this jacket. A blazer that I can roll up and tuck away while traveling, then pull out, wear, and wash if necessary is very attractive. The color and basic style are just what i was looking for.
The sizing wasn't exactly right for me, however. I initially bought the 42, but it was too tight. Then I swapped that out for the 44, but the sleeves were too long. I ended up keeping that one and taking the blazer to my tailor to have the sleeves altered. It fits better, now, but I haven't worn it out yet so we'll see how I feel about it after wearing it a few times.

Overall, this is the travel/all-around everyday blazer I wanted. The fit is a little snugger than I would like and there is a small lip at the seam where the sleeve and shoulder meet. I find the inside pockets a bit high, but not so much thank I can’t/won’t use them. I’m curious how the fabric will hold up in the multiple climates where I usually live and travel through, but it seems well-made and I’m looking forward to putting it through its paces.

This jacket did not hang right on my shoulders. I sent a picture to customer service and they agreed. Returning the jacket was so simple and the customer service agent was great. I have replaced this blazer with another one (a different color) and it fits perfectly.

The blazer looks terrific but it is a little too snug, even though I got the "classic" fit. I am 5'7" and weigh 160. My regular jacket size is either 40S or 42S. I ordered 40S and returned it for a 42S. The good news is that the return was easy, easy, easy.

This is my second bluffworks purchase, the first being the gramercy 1.0 a few months ago. I’ve been a huge fan of the quality, fit, and materials of both blazers. They truly hold up to the rigors of travel and the hopsack in particular is the perfect lightweight summer blazer that hardly ever gets wrinkled. I had it folded up in a suitcase for about a 12 hour travel day from west to east and when I got settled in my hotel room, you couldn’t even tell.
The only piece of feedback I have is that the sizing/cut can be slightly off compared to the gramercy 1.0. I had gotten a 38S / Slim for the gramercy but had to go with a 38S / Classic for the hopsack. Could be a difference of the double vent (gramercy) vs single vent (hopsack) cut though.
Please please make more hopsack blazers in other colors and designs!
