Meet the Petaluma Pintuck Pants

Our newest women’s product is a variation on a fan favorite – the Petaluma Ponte pant – which we launched in 2020 as a polished improvement to your run-of-the-mill leggings. Since then, we’ve observed that our Petalumas remain popular thanks to their sleek, compressed look, and their structured fabric infused with technical upgrades, like functional pockets.

The first version we created came out of the depths of the pandemic, where comfort and WFH attire was the pinnacle of fashion. As we emerge from those years, we wanted a product that would retain the first Petaluma’s innovation on athleisure, but look even more like a sleek, polished pair of business casual pants.

Made with our beloved Petaluma double-knit fabric, our Pintuck pants are wrinkle resistant and soft to the touch, with stretch that smooths and compresses for a slimming silhouette. Made with the same material as our Ponte pant, this double-knit fabric has the durable structure of a woven material, with the soft stretch of a knit – combining the best of both worlds.

The fabric provides a light compression, creating a smooth and streamlined silhouette that’s comfortable all day. And, since we’re all about performance, we also added an antimicrobial treatment so they’ll stay fresh for multiple days of wear – which is important, because you probably won’t want to take them off! Good news is, when you do, they’ll be effortless to wash – just toss them in the washing machine, no dry cleaner necessary.

As an elevated update to our first Petaluma Ponte pant, these Pintuck pants have a slimming seam down the front of the leg with a shorter waist band for a more dressed up look.

Our Pintuck pants come with five pockets: two discreet front zipper pockets, and three phone pockets – including our Bluffworks signature back phone pocket and two interior patch pockets. With a ton of options built right in, our women’s Pintuck pants are perfect for the frequent flier or business professional.

The Pintuck also has a narrower waistband, with the bottom leg opening that's slightly bigger than the original. The detailed leg seams create visual length, and an open ankle slit balances the silhouette from hip to hem.

With a soft stretch compression that's slimming and fitted, these pants were designed to go with everything in your closet – just like the rest of our women’s line. Debuting in Eclipse Black and Charcoal Grey – neutrals that can easily coordinate with any look – we’re so excited for you to try them out.
