Originally launched in 2016, the Gramercy went from raising $350,000 on Kickstarter to being one of our best selling products.
It resonated because it looks like classic suiting with none of the hassle. Wrinkle-free. Machine washable. Travel-friendly. It helped you look sharp without slowing you down.
But, as textile technology improved, we saw an opportunity to make it even better. And, we were surprised with the results.
What’s New in the Gramercy 2.0
Improved Stretch The biggest update to the Gramercy fabric is its heightened stretch.
To ensure we’re on the same page – we are unwilling to produce a performance suit that doesn’t feel like a classic. We think the best men’s blazer is one that no one can tell goes in the washing machine.
So when we added stretch, we did it intentionally, balancing the garment's weight with breathability, machine washability, stretch and hand feel. The new Gramercy provides more comfort and freedom of movement while maintaining its polished look and feel.

A Smoother Handfeel Actually, we lied… we didn’t just maintain the Gramercy’s handfeel. We elevated it.
If we showed you two pictures of a 1.0 and 2.0 side-by-side, you probably couldn’t tell the difference. (To us, that's a good thing.)
But when you touch it, although the 1.0 was soft... the 2,0 is even softer.
The Gramercy is the best machine washable, technical suit that looks like wool but has performance built in.
Updated Fit Gramercy Pants Now Available in Slim and Regular Fit The fit of the Gramercy blazer is the same. It just gained more freedom of movement.

Regular Fit: The same as Gramercy 1.0.
Slim Fit: A new fit for Gramercy, we replaced Tailored fit with a Slim fit. This matches what is available in our Envoy pant, and we think is easier for our customers.
With added stretch, two fit options, and pant sizes available in 1” increments, Gramercy 2.0 offers the flexibility to suit your style – whether you prefer a more tailored profile or extra room through the seat and thigh.
