I wanted a durable and great-looking pique polo shirt designed to effortlessly handle whatever adventure I threw at it: hiking local trails and sailing with my son, or dinner at an upscale restaurant with my wife. Sometimes, both in the same day.
Looking back, the original polo shirt was designed for a day of horseback riding, followed by hours of socializing and enjoying good company at the club. It was simultaneously sturdy and stylish, but they often get too hot or wear out too quickly. On the flip side, modern day technical polos are too shiny, with a slippery feel, and feature splashy logos that don’t appeal to me.
The Piton Polo brings together the best of both worlds – technical and good looking – to be an essential part of a capsule wardrobe. Our pique knit makes this high-performance polo both beautiful and versatile. Plus, it’s a travel-ready, moisture-wicking polo shirt that dries quick, is wrinkle-resistant, and doesn’t sacrifice a classic aesthetic.
Wear our olive green polo shirt with the Bluffworks Ascender Chino in almost any color (looks especially nice with the Desert Khaki or Mars Red) for a more elevated look. Or, throw on a pair of the Departure Jeans for a cool, business casual outfit.
I’ve worn this polo shirt around the world and it’s stood up to the test. I was comfortable and looked good. Not to mention that it’s easy to pack, wear, and care for. The Piton Polo is the solution to my previous polo problems – stylish yet rugged, breathable and wicking polo shirts.
