The original polo shirt was defined by design details like buttons to keep the collar from flapping at a gallop, and a slightly longer back panel to cover rider’s rears. Modern performance polo shirts are often obviously technical, with a slippery handfeel, shiny fabrics, and big logos.
Our technical polo shirt is also designed to be on the move, thanks to its quick dry, breathable, and moisture wicking qualities, but it doesn’t look like it. The elegant pique knit fabric, classic design, and simple colors maintain the traditional style, so you don’t have to choose between look and feel.
This navy polo shirt is beautiful and versatile. Layer it with our Gramercy Blazer for a dressier look, or an oversize knit sweater and jeans for a comfortable outfit in cooler weather. It pairs with almost any color of our chinos for classic business casual style, but it also looks good worn untucked with shorts.
After testing our polo around NYC, I took it to Morocco and wore it in the desert, on a boat, and while riding a horse. I was super pleased with how it performed: I was comfortable, and the shirt looked great.
Because it’s lightweight, wrinkle resistant, and antimicrobial, it’s perfect for adding into a capsule wardrobe. Mine is definitely becoming a key piece in my lineup, both for work and travel.
The Piton Polo is elegant yet rugged – it feels nice, looks smart, and is ready for your adventures.
