- How do I care for my Gramercy Blazer?
- Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C). Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Gramercy Blazer always look its best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Gramercy Blazer be altered?
- Yes, it can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material. Across the back and down both sides are multiple seams. The back zippered pocket is only in the lining, so it may or may not require the pocket to be reset, depending on how much of an adjustment is made. The buttons on the sleeve are non-functioning.

I returned the blazer because it did not fit me. The poor fit was not because of the size, but because the style did not fit my body type. If I had had it altered, the tailoring fees would have been high. Further, there were wrinkles in the coat when it arrived, and the wrinkles did not improve with 2 days on a hanger-this was not what I wanted for a wrinkle-free travel blazer. Also, I was not wild about the fabric-it seemed like a little too loose a weave for a travel blazer which would seem to get dirty rather easily, and the weight of the fabric was heavier than I wanted for a travel blazer.

Ordered the Gramercy Blazer in my measurements, upon arrival jacket length and sleeve length were good. Material feels good, but the overall cut of the blazer is….odd to say the least. Fits good in the shoulders, sleeves, and chest/back but the torso/midsection of the blazer is LUDICROUSLY out of proportion. Absolutely swimming in material from below chest downward. One of the most boxy cuts I’ve ever seen. Maybe it’s to allow all of the completely too-many pockets to be filled up with “stuff”. But the insane amount of extra material through the torso of the jacket, only added to by the crazy number of pockets, makes the blazer have a very poor look when on, and makes the weight so heavy that you “feel” the weight of the jacket constantly. And the unique way it’s made (all the pockets) makes having it tailored to taper this jacket like it needs to be.

So I like the look and feel of the jacket, and the fit was entirely consistent with your recommendations (I ordered up a size due to my belly) but two gripes:
1) Jacket came out of the box with badly wrinkled arms. Have traveled from CA to Jerusalem and the wrinkles remain!
2) It was difficult to cut the threads closing all the pockets, and, especially, the back flaps. Looking stitches sewing the flaps together? Surely that is not necessary. I used a magnifying glass and seam ripper to cut the threads, and still it was difficult!
