- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) inside out, with like colors. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Low iron, if needed. Do not dry clean.

Ultralight very Stylish Rainwear that is well designed and made...durable fabric. Wore it as an overcoat today over Sportcoat. Easy to take anywhere because of its weight (or lack thereof) while the heavy Barbour remains in the closet and the Filson Rain jacket hangs there too, because it looks too outdoorsy.....this is a classy looking City Styled Rainwear...a Scarce thing

I traveled through Europe this past month and this was the best jacket. Kept me dry through the first week of rain in Paris. Kept my phone in the chest pocket and it stayed dry as well. More mad that someone stole it during my wedding so I’ll have to end up purchasing another one. Highly recommend this for travel as well as everyday ware. Light weight for travel and packing but kept me warm on the cold breezy evening walking through Europe. Wish I had it going into the final city of travel.

This jacket got a good test run in some Kansas City spring weather. Cold, windy and rainy the jacket did the trick.
Also, it was stylish enough that my 14 year old daughter did not recoil in disgust while I was wearing it. Good job!

The jacket is pretty good for a stowable/packable jacket. Fit and style are spot on. That said, time will tell if durability is up to the Bluffworks standards. The zipper is a little thin and was “Sticky” when I first tried the jacket on. Didn’t seem like the zipper teeth lined up real well so we’ll see if it holds up.

While pants, shirts, suits, etc may be Bluffworks' 'bread and butter', I absolutely love their outwear selections, and the Faroe Rain Jacket is another big win! First off, it's well made, using high quality materials that feel high quality. I've already worn this jacket in a pouring rain, and remained totally dry underneath. Some highlights: Functional yet also stylish (nod to the length!). I appreciate the bi-directional zippers. I love that when the hood is hidden, it is subtle and doesn't look like a neck cushion like it does on some jackets. And it almost seems impossible that it can squish up into the built in pouch, but it does! If you're looking for an all around rain shell, with the travel pockets you've come to expect, that looks great, than the Faroe is for you (too)!!

This is exactly the kind of jacket I have been waiting for from Bluffworks, and suggested something very similar several years ago. The fit is spot on and the jacket fits over a blazer as described. I am 5'10" and about 150 pounds, and the medium fits nicely. The material seems very water resistant to light rain, though I have not used it in a downpour yet. I like the fact that this jacket stuffs into its own pocket and that the hood can be stored in the collar of the jacket. All very nice details for a travel jacket that I also use from day-to-day.
