- How do I care for my Departure Jeans?
- This fabric is made with natural indigo dye so the color may transfer to white and lighter colors. For best results, wash garment inside out with dark colors (or alone). Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C) with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry normal or hang dry. Remove promptly. Warm iron if needed.
- How do I ensure my Departure Jeans always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Departure Jeans be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

Got a pair and am loving them. They break in quickly and are super comfy. I don’t like skinny jeans, but the slim fit is very reasonable for me as a 50 yo guy. The regular fit was too big. I bought another pair in the darker color.

My favorite departure jeans are the first generation. Maybe because I'm older, I found there for and stretch very comfortable. But fabric and fit side, the construction and additions to these are very good. My remaining complaint is that the zipper is wonky, rough to open and close, even after rubbing bar soap on it.

As an owner of many Bluffworks products, my favorite are the jeans. They fit perfectly, have the right amount of stretch, feel like you are wearing a 100% cotton jean and the right amount of pockets. My favorite are the hidden zipper in the left rear pocket and the side zipper pocket.
I would love these to be in stock all of the time and an additional color way (black) would be great.

Really like the fabric and the fit. They do run large, I ordered my usual size of 36x28 in a regular cut and I found they were to big and loose for me. Easy return & reorder to 35x28 slim fit and they fit great. I do wish they had a dark wash. My cell phone fits nicely in the zip up right leg pocket and my wallet and passport will both fit in the virtually invisible left rear zipper pocket.
