- How do I care for my Departure Jeans?
- This fabric is made with natural indigo dye so the color may transfer to white and lighter colors. For best results, wash garment inside out with dark colors (or alone). Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C) with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry normal or hang dry. Remove promptly. Warm iron if needed.
- How do I ensure my Departure Jeans always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Departure Jeans be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

These stretchy, yet durable feeling, jeans are great for travel and comes in a proper length (28” inseam) for us vertically challenged.
I travel a lot, so I got a couple pair of these jeans for the nifty zippered hidden pocket on the right leg (perfect fit for my passpor)t. I also use the other hidden zippered rear pocket for my wallet.
Due to the stretchy waistline, I will say even in slim fit, you can go down a waist size. I’ll buy my next pair one size down.
Bluffworks needs to produce a raw indigo version for business wear soon!

These jeans are called "slim fit," so perhaps I should have expected this, but they are too slim - closer to "skinny jeans." I did not like the look and they felt too tight. Back to the drawing board . . .

I never wore jeans when travelling or walking around cities since the back pockets are open. These jeans have excellent hidden zip pockets to store a wallet and are very comfortable. These worked great for a recent trip and the hidden zip pocket on the side was a perfect spot for me to place my phone while I was on a 5 hour flight. Made the phone easily accessible and the pocket is surprisingly hidden when walking around. These are now my go to jeans and seem durable.

just received them a couple of days ago, very comfortable, more quickly drying the normal jeans, but obviously after such a short while I cannot say how they will hold up during two months of backpacking. I think it'll work fine and all the secret pockets are not in any way visible or distracting in every day where,so I think it was a great buy. would be happy to write a longer review after the trip or during the trip. I have many years of backpacking experience so I do know what clothing has to be able to provide.
