- How do I care for my Departure Jeans?
- This fabric is made with natural indigo dye so the color may transfer to white and lighter colors. For best results, wash garment inside out with dark colors (or alone). Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C) with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry normal or hang dry. Remove promptly. Warm iron if needed.
- How do I ensure my Departure Jeans always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Departure Jeans be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

My new Departure Jeans are just what I needed and wanted. The first pair was just a bit tight at the waist so I reached out to the team and the problem was resolved with the most streamlined return and exchange program that I have ever seen. Flawless. The new pair of pants is perfect, thanks to advice from the support team. Although I haven't had a chance to travel in these jeans as yet, I can see that they will be perfect for adventures and all kinds of travel. I love the material and the stealth zip pocket, along with the phone pocket that all Bluffworks pants have. Looking forward to using these more extensively in the near future!

I bought a pair during the Summer Sale. Would have been super sad if I'd paid full price; still a little sad. Phone pocket is useless because it can't handle a flagship phone in an Otterbox, which if you are out travelling you should definitely have on your phone and it also is in an easy to pick pocket place with no zipper or anything to protect it. So, you have to move your phone to the hidden zippered pocket on the left instead. Do not feel like Denim, probably not durable enough. Passport pocket is nice, though.

I have 5 other pairs of Bluffworks pants, going back about ten years. All of them are in 32 slim fit, including previous iteration of Departure Jeans. But this current version is way smaller, I had to go for 34, and it's still seems a tad tighter than the old pair in 32 (it could have stretched a little over the years, though), If I weren't in the process of shedding some lbs, I would probably choose size 35.
Otherwise, great product. Definitely summer weight jeans, just like previous versions. Signature phone pocket in the back right waistband and concealed zipper pocket on the right thigh rock,
Bluffworks service was impeccable, as always.

The jeans fit very well as I’ve aged my **** has gotten smaller so the slim jeans are welcome. The jeans don’t wrinkle and look great after several days. Great travel jeans. My only issue is my iPhone is harder to remove from its pocket that in my other Bluff pants.

Bought a pair to replace my only other pair of jeans that were a bit dated. Didn’t plan on wearing them much but I decided I needed at least one pair in my wardrobe.
They fit great and don’t bag out after wearing once. I can wear them multiple times between washing without any issue.
Took them to Mexico a couple weeks ago and loved being able to have my wallet and passport zipped up in the leg pocket. I’m going to Europe for two weeks later this month and I’m 100% taking this with me!
