- How do I care for my Departure Jeans?
- This fabric is made with natural indigo dye so the color may transfer to white and lighter colors. For best results, wash garment inside out with dark colors (or alone). Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C) with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry normal or hang dry. Remove promptly. Warm iron if needed.
- How do I ensure my Departure Jeans always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Departure Jeans be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

These jeans are the best yet. Comfortable, good fabric, good look. I’m having trouble with two things.
1. I love the zippered left rear pocket for my wallet, but it’s so deep I have real difficulty getting to my wallet when needed. Maybe reduce depth by 3/4”?
2. I’m having problems with the waistband rolling. I’ve been using a standard width belt, but I have ordered a wider belt to see if it fixes the problem.

Perfect fit, I took 31/32 regular and 32/32 slim which are both perfect for my shape and are neither too loose nor by any means too tight. I regilarly wear (wore actually) Levis 31/32 (tighter) or 32/32 (looser), sometimes 30/32 but those are a tight fit around the seat (but still work).

My husband is skinny, and the Gramercy and Presidio pants fit him great in a slim fit 30/30. The slim fit jeans were so tight that they wouldn't close by 2 inches. The legs and waist, and rise, and hips were way too small. The pockets were also weird. He couldn't fit his phone in the phone pocket (iphone 16). The only zip pocket was on the side of the leg pointing backwards and he didn't think he'd use it. Plus he'd be sitting on it all the time, which he thought would be uncomfortable.

I love these jeans! Super comfortable, just the right amount of stretch, and the side leg zip pocket is amazing - discreet and just big enough. This makes up for the lack of zippered pockets in the main hand pockets.
It seems to me that the phone pocket by the right hip is situated a bit higher up than the Ascender phone pocket. This makes it difficult to use when wearing a thick belt.
