- How do I care for my Departure Jeans?
- This fabric is made with natural indigo dye so the color may transfer to white and lighter colors. For best results, wash garment inside out with dark colors (or alone). Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C) with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry normal or hang dry. Remove promptly. Warm iron if needed.
- How do I ensure my Departure Jeans always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Departure Jeans be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

This is my 3rd pair and have become my go to for all my jeans. I'm 6'2" and 230. The 38x32 standard fit works well for my size. Bluffworks has done a great job, adding the extra features today's jeans need. The xtra pockets make it for me. I typically wear readers and the leg pockets that hold my glasses are very convenient. I also like the zippered pocket for my wallet to keep it where it's supposed to be. It's so helpful when traveling knowing nothing is going to disappear.

Bought these for my husband and he thinks they’re very nice jeans. I love them because you sell them with various inseams. His inseam is 28 so these are great. They look very nice on I just wish they were a slimmer leg. In the picture they look to be slim. There still great, thank you.

I’m a big fan of all Bluffworks travel pants. I own all three versions of the Departure Jeans, and 3.0 is definitely my favorite. It took two pairs to get the sizing right, as they run big for me. I wear a 33W in the Ascender Chinos but a 32W in the Departure Jeans. They dry quickly, and the added security pocket on the right leg is perfect for storing passports and important documents that you want to keep secure but don’t necessarily need to access often. I’m eagerly awaiting a version in black! Bluffworks’ customer service is amazing and dedicated to ensuring that I always get the right fit.

I'm a huge Bluffworks fan and long time customer. I exclusively wear the Presidio pants to work and have done so for a decade. The size 33/32 slim fit pants fit me perfectly, so I was disappointed when the 33/32 slim fit Departure jeans were uncomfortably snug. I reordered the regular fit version, which fit great, but appear unflatteringly baggy around the lower thighs and knees. Everything else about the product is great - high quality, nice color, though the right thigh hidden zip pocket feels unnecessary and not entirely hidden. NOTE: It's a slightly heavier pair of jeans than average.

I like the fit and comfort. I wear a 30 or a 31, depending on my diet status. 30 is snug but comfy, 31 needs a belt but doesn't look baggy. My only complaint is the length- I like a 33, and 32 is a tad short, 34 a tad long. Both are wearable, just mildly annoying.

This is a great product. I ordered a pair of the first generation and loved them with one exception. They needed an additional belt loop above each back pocket which I had a seamstress do for me. When the new 2.0 version came out and had the additional belt loops I ordered two more pairs one in blue and one in black. The new 3.0 version is even better and I only have one additional request, bring back the Black option. Thanks for making these they are my go to for every day use as well as for traveling, especially to other countries.

I've been a Bluffworks loyalist for more than a decade. Always loved the cut and the subtle stylishness of the jeans, and of course their travel friendliness. This reboot, tho, is pretty duddy -- the regular cut is 2 inches wider at the bottom than the previous generation and just kind of cut "more generously" all around. Luckily (for me, if not for these jeans), my measurements haven't gotten "more generous." So these will be fine for everyday, but the "add a jacket and look sharp at dinner" appeal is gone -- which makes a $100 pair of jeans a lot less appealing.
