- How do I care for my Departure Jeans?
- This fabric is made with natural indigo dye so the color may transfer to white and lighter colors. For best results, wash garment inside out with dark colors (or alone). Machine wash warm 104° F (40° C) with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry normal or hang dry. Remove promptly. Warm iron if needed.
- How do I ensure my Departure Jeans always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Departure Jeans be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

I had been looking for some jeans that were stretchy and comfortable enough to wear aboard airplanes, yet stylish to wear with a button down shirt. This departure jeans fit the bill perfectly. I usually wear a 34/32, but ordered a 35/32 because sometimes a 34 waist is just a bit tight. The 35 waist is a tad large, but nothing uncomfortable. I love these jeans!

I almost docked a star since I don't "love" these like I do some of my other tech-fabric travel pants with hidden pockets. But I realize that's no reflection of the pants: they are exactly as advertised, look nice, and are comfortable. But the difference is the stretch denim hugs my legs so using the pockets creates much more of a bulge and a feeling of tightness around the item(s) than slacks with this design. So if you really love denim and also want some secure pockets, these are Them. But for me, I don't have as strong a desire to combine those things. I'll keep them because they're nice, I probably just won't actually "travel" in them.
