- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

Ascender Shorts and Pants. I now have 5 pants purchased since last year. I am forever impressed with both pants and shorts. Beyond the fact that they were great for security and for foreign travel last year and for my recent vacation to the east coast, they are my "go to pants". Had I not retired I would have worn the pants to the office and to client meetings. I wear them for casual and for dress in Town, and for dinner when out with my wife and friends. Nice pair of shorts; however, I am not sure they are going to meet my needs as secure travel clothes. The zipper pocket on the side does not seen too functional, There is a zipper pocket in the rear of the shorts. But keeping valuables in rear pockets seems to me as an invitation to pick pockets. The material feels high quality and the shorts are well made. I expect to buy more in the near future but they won’t be for overseas travel.
