- How do I care for my Ascenders?
- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

The pants look nice and fit great. I needed a 32 waist, usually wear 33, so they run a bit big. Inseam of 28 wears closer to a 27.
They are stretchy, lightweight and breathe well despite the polyester fabric. Resists stains. Great for traveling, the zippered inner pockets work well on flights to keep stuff from falling out.

I bought the Ascender for travel but can see myself wearing them around town. I originally ordered the Envoy but concluded they were too light weight for wear in temps below 60F. So I tried the Ascenders. They are definitely a heavier weight material which should give me a longer season of wear. They are also a bit more “upscale” which makes them a bit more versatile. Pay attention to the fit guide. I originally ordered these in a 32 when I typically wear a 33 with a belt. After receiving the pants, I concluded the recommendation that you size-down by 2” was spot-on…especially given they have a stretch waist and I don’t plan on wearing a belt. So I sent these back & ordered 3 pairs in a 31 slim fit and am very happy with the way they fit. I have no experience yet wearing these for multiple days of travel, but based on everything I see, I believe they will work out great!

Have 5 pairs of the Ascender’s. My go to chinos. However after initial wash on my last 2 pairs purchased, packing creases are still visible. Hoping it goes away. Will see after several more washes.

My husband generally gets a 36" waist and a 30" inseam, which means he looks schlumpy because his pants are too long and a little too big. It was great to be able to get the 35"-28" in the Ascender chinos because they fit him excellently well. He looks good. He says they are very comfortable pants. They appear to be durable and to reject dirt. And these pants seem suitable for pretty much anything. They can be dressed up or go for a trail hike. My only negative note is that when the fabric brushes against itself, it makes that noise that technical fabrics often do. But overall great pants.
