- How do I care for my Ascenders?
- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

I have 3 of the Ascender 5-Pockets, and would buy more if they were still available. I tried the Ascender Chino in both the Trim and Tailored fit. The outer seam (from top of the waist to the bottom of the pant leg was a different length between all three version (32/28 in all 3). The Trim being the shortest and the 5 pocket being the longest. The Trim pant is 1.5 inches shorter than the 5 pocket. I preferred the overall fit of the Trim over the Tailor but I ended up keeping the Tailored and returned the Trim because it was just too short. I purchased them for travel, but they are a great every day wear as well. They are comfortable, lightweight, easy to clean and quick-drying. The fabric is not as durable or stain resistant as a competing brand, but overall I tend to wear the Bluffworks Ascenders more often. Personally I could do with a few less pockets. The small utility/money pockets inside the two main front pockets are cumbersome.

After losing his phone in Italy at the hands of a pickpocket, I set out to find pick pocket proof pants (say that 4 times fast) and Bluffworks was the only company (there were two) that could actually fulfill an order as it was placed. The other company insisted you pre order and they would ship after Christmas (who does that?!).
Even with the holidays, Bluffworks delivered their quality product quickly and in time for Christmas, and by all accounts, they fit well and should keep his belongings safe while traveling. I highly recommend this company.

Still my favorite pair of everyday and travel pants. Great fit, great feel, and I'm still discovering all the security features they offer. (The passport pocket accessible only from the inside is especially thoughtful when traveling, say, around Europe, where some countries insist you have your physical passport with you.)
Also, the slight stretch in the waistband (especially noticeable when buttoning / unbuttoning) is not something I thought I needed, or would even appreciate. Turns out, it is a really nice touch.

I now have two pair of these in my wardrobe and like them a great deal. I am impressed with the fit and feel of the pants. I purchased them for an upcoming 3-week trip to Europe and am excited about their versatility, practicality, and style. I am especially anxious to see how they perform after some use and some laundering and am hopeful they are as wrinkle-free as advertised and reviewed.
As far as fit, they seem to run just about right. I prefer to have a comfortable waistband and probably should have went with a 32" instead of the 33". I originally purchased a regular fit but they were too baggy in the rise and the seat. I went with a slim fit in the same size (33x30) and they are about perfect (with extra room in the waist to be sure because I didn't want to chance them being too tight). I am 5'7" and weigh a lean and muscular 164. I struggle to fill out trousers in the seat but if you don't, the regular fit should be ideal. Length is spot-on perfect!

The Ascender Chinos are my all-time favorite travel pants. They are lightweight, easy to clean, stain resistant, and quick-drying. Plus, they are incredibly comfortable! The multiple security pockets provide peace of mind, as I have zero fear of pickpockets in crowded areas or misplacing my belongings while traveling. A pair of these chinos, alongside the Ascender Shorts, are all I need for a month of travel in the spring, summer, and fall!

This is my first Bluffworks product and I'm impressed so far. They are quite comfortable and they look much dressier than typical "travel" pants. I wore them to a Michelin starred restaurant in Paris and it felt like they lived up to the dress level of the place. The pockets work well for carrying things securely, the money pouch pocket might be a bit hard to get to without undoing the waist. All in all, I'm quite pleased with them
