- How do I care for my Ascenders?
- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

I like the pants. I ordered both a 32 and a 33 waist because I was unsure which I needed. I easily returned one of them at no cost. Having already purchased & enjoyed the Ascender chinos in tailored fit I was happy to see the slim fit option. So I ordered another pair. While the difference between tailored & slim fit is not dramatic the slim fit does feel a bit more contoured. Being able to order odd numbers waist size is a huge plus as well. These pants are great both at home & while traveling Europe in November when weather can change quickly. After a drenching rain while in Germany I was shocked how quickly these pants dried. Secured pockets, perfect fit, & performance fabrics make these a must if moving around the globe or just around the block.

These pants travel really well and are great in warm climates. Easily go from the plane to whatever I have planned. Really appreciate the security of the zipped pockets. I just wish they came in more options with regard to the hem- I'm a 33 and I have to choose 32 or 34.

I wear Ascender pants pretty much every day, so in this case I was just buying one more pair, since I placed an order for two shirts and an extra item would help to justify the cost of the courier for an overseas delivery.
Having now bought various Bluffworks trousers over the years it should be apparent that I am a happy customer. If I had one thought though on how these could be improved, it would be that I tend to make use of the zippered pockets, particularly for sets of keys on both left and right, and once the pockets get a bit of content in them the pocket lining can become visible, because I suspect the zip is only just under the edge of the pocket. I imagine this is to make it easier to get things into and out of the pockets, which I do appreciate, if it doesn't make sense for the pocket to cover the zipper more, perhaps the pocket lining could be the same colour as the pant, so a fuller pocket doesn't lead to this.
