- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

Took them for their first test drive in NYC for a weekend. Good fit. Comfortable. Real pockets and by that I mean deep enough to hold stuff without it falling out. Nice zippered security pockets and the phone pocket. My only complaint is that the wrinkles from the original packaging are very difficult to get out. I washed them three times. Warmed ironed them. Still there. No doubt they will come out in time. Thus four instead of five stars. Customer service is great. I had to return the first pair due to an error on my part related to sizing. Someone actually answers the phone. And, they answer questions submitted by email.

That’s great just enough room. Material is light and breathable. The Taylor fit is great with a slight taper so far the best chinos I found.
5’9” 194 pounds athletic build. Purchased a 3230 a year ago. I never wore them. They were a little too snug. Just purchased this 33 x 30 excellent fit perfect amount of stretch. Definitely looking forward to grabbing a couple more pair.

I got these pants to travel with and they meet my needs. The fit is very good. The pants have security pockets so I will not have to worry about having things fall out of my pockets on the plane or in the bus. The material looks and feels like it is water resistant and wrinkle resistant although I have not yet put the pants to the test. The price was reasonable so I am happy with this purchase.

The Ascender is an excellent modern travel chino. I love the fabric. Smooth and cool to the touch but not too thin. I use them to dress down my suits as well as being the perfect pants for nights out. Very comfortable on planes, with just the right amount of stretch.
Pitched as a travel pant, I really don't understand why Bluffworks doesn't add two obvious travel features - a French fly and a zip on the back right pocket. The French fly would provide redundancy for the front button. The back right pocket (not back left) is where most guys keep their wallets, so a zip there seems like common sense.

We were on a 50 day vacation throughout Asia, so had a variety of climates to deal with during the days and evenings. I alternated wearing my Ascender Chinos (Black, Navy, Gray and Khaki) nearly everyday. Dressed them up and dressed them down depending upon what we were doing. They always looked great and all of the secure pockets came in handy. I love them!

I did a bunch of research on what the best Chinos are. I’ve tried Bonobos, Jack Archer, and Bluffworks so far and Bluffworks is my favorite out of that group. The reason is, they fit great, I love the phone sized pocket in the right front pocket. I love the zipper pockets in each front pocket. I was recently in Las Vegas and could just walk around without being too worried about my phone or wallet. It was great. The dark navy is very dark navy though. Almost looks black. I normally wear 32x32 in jeans. I found 32x30 is better for Chinos so they don’t have excess at the bottom.

I really like the products from Bluffworks, the material is great, wrinkles are minimal after wearing numerous times, they dry quickly and great for travel with all the pockets, etc. However for me the waist size continues to be a challenge , I followed the recommended sizing as provided on the website, and the waist size I had previously purchased but these I just purchased are tighter.
