- How do I care for my Ascenders?
- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

I now own 8 pair of Ascender chinos, in a variety of colors, all in the tailored fit style. I appreciate all the thought that goes into this style, especially the easy-care fabric and the unique cell phone pocket. This appears to be a company with a sound business philosophy and good customer service. My only quibble might be the color selections. For example, the "aged clay" and the "desert khaki" seem not too dissimilar, but what is lacking is something in the ivory/cream/white realm, and perhaps a lighter shade of grey, something more appropriate for the warmer climates. What about it, Stefan?

I love these pants. They are the made of the most beautiful, comfortable fabric. Please, please offer pants in odd-length inseams -- at least the common sizes of 29, 31 and 33. Being a perfect 31, I had to buy 32's and have them shortened. The resulting tailoring was not well done. I can buy even sizes all day at local department stores. I want to go to Bluffworks for style, detailing and quality but I can't buy again unless I can get the correct length.

I purchased the pants for a cruise. On the plain ride to Galveston, Texas I dumped a complete drink (****** mary) in my lap. After cleaning up with napkins and flying for 5 hours, I was surprised to find you couldn't even notice anything. The pants were dry and the ****** mary mix was unnoticeable.

This is the fourth pair of Ascenders and they are very comfortable. The stretch fabric adds to the comfort and the well placed pockets are of great value to me. Other than some creases in the trousers when shipped that are stubborn to remove, I recommend the trousers for all but very cold weather.

I have other Bluffworks products but was looking for the perfect pair of travel pants that were comfortable but didn't make me look like a dirtbag. I just tested these pants out on a trip to Europe. I had issues with my domestic and European flights that caused me to have to wear these pants for 5 days straight. They performed admirably. They look clean and proper but they are extremely comfortable. They also stayed pretty clean except for when I spilled something on them and sat on something on a park bench. Both stains easily washed out with a little water and hand soap. I walked for hours each day in slightly cool weather. I hung them up at night and they looked like they hadn't even been worn. I'll definitely be looking to buy some more when some of my other travel pants wear out.

Great fabric and color but sizing is off. My entire pants wardrobe consists of a 32 inch waist but these pants (tailored fit to boot) are way too big and loose around the waist.

My first Bluffworks in several years. Very nice overall, fit well, but, IMO they need two additional belt loops along the side. I find when putting an iPhone in the rear phone pocket it causes the waist to sag drooping below the belt. Two additional loops on the side would fix this. The lightweight travel pants I bought at the same time have the same issue.
