- How do I care for my Ascenders?
- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

they dry quickly, they fit very comfortably, they do not make any wrestling sound as other performance clothes do, at least not more than any other trousers of a light material, will test them during two months of backpacking.
I should have purchased size 31, but I deliberately took one size larger because that way it will sit very loose and I can use a belt, though 31 fits of course much better, but I need to leave a couple of pounds before that.... that's also why I took 32.

This is my 3rd pair of Bluffworks Ascender chinos. This matte navy is a great color to join the desert khaki & walnut brown I already have.
I travel frequently, both in the US & overseas. The Ascender line has proven to be very comfortable while traveling by plane, train, bus & ferry. They have been great for urban tours & hiking trails - even rough terrain.
These pants can be dressed up or down. I really like the Threshold line of T-shirts & polos with them. They dry very quickly, making it easy to wash them in a hotel sink & hang to dry. The also pack very small, saving luggage space & making a carry-on only trip of 3 weeks easy. When rolled, two pair of these chinos take up less space than a single pair of quality jeans.
