This fabric has a nice matte texture and takes color beautifully. It’s soft and stretches. But it doesn’t just look and feel good.
These performance chinos resist wrinkles and odors, wick moisture, and are lightweight. So they’re the perfect work travel pants – ready to go in your bag, to a meeting, or on an adventure.
The details take these chinos to the next level. The waist is designed with a classic chino look, but actually features a special stretch waistband so you’re always comfortable, and the pants fit better on your body.
We took some notes from the everyday carry (EDC) community and designed specific pockets to better facilitate your ability to organize your kit the way you want to, where it works best for you.
So these pants come with not one but two phone options: our standard Bluffworks phone pocket in the back right waistband, plus a new one in the front right pocket – a patch pocket that holds the phone more comfortably at the top of your thigh.
There’s also a little utility pocket, so you can carry your keys, pocket knife, or other small multi-tool in the same place every time. And we added in new security features, like reverse direction front zippers make it hard for a thief to access the inside of your pockets – now gravity works against them.
But the most secure and hidden pocket is our custom travel money pouch. Instead of having to wear a separate money belt to keep your money and passport safe while traveling, now it’s part of your pants.
Load up this interior pocket before you put your pants on, secreting your belongings away inside your pants. But you can still access it through the interior left pocket if you need to extract some cash while you’re wearing the pants.
I tested these pants on a trip to Morocco, and I was thrilled at how safe and comfortable I felt. Plus, these navy chinos looked great – whether I dressed up a bit by pairing with our grey polo and navy blue blazer, or went casual with our white t-shirt.
The Ascender Chino raises the bar for how comfortable travel pants can be while looking amazing, and they make it easy to carry what you need.
