- How do I care for my Ascenders?
- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

I initially bought a pair in black, and liked them so much I bought the Tuscan Olive ones. The fit is great and true to size, and I love that they have the interior zippered pockets but look and feel like an ordinary pair of chinos. Very comfortable also. I plan to wear these on an overseas trip, and they seem like they'd be pretty pickpocket-resistant. And, unlike at a competitor's site, the pants are actually available. We will see how they hold up to washing, and how warm they feel in cooler weather, but for now at least I couldn't be happier with them.

Wore my chinos on a round trip road trip (15 hours each way) and they held up great. Light and comfortable, they easily roll up to pack away then come out wrinkle free. I especially like the hidden and zippered pockets when traveling.

These look and feel good.
I cut one point off the rating because of the way they arrived - very nicely packed but with creases in places I don't want creases. Getting rid of those creases has been quite a challenge. Following care instructions and heeding warnings (no hot iron), I have not been able to get rid of the creases yet. I have tried a warm iron pressing, with no luck, and laundering in cold water, also with no luck. I hope and expect that the unfortunately located creases will eventually fall out.
