With three amazing blazers already in the Bluffworks line, the question is: why add a fourth? And the answer is: extreme packability.
You know those trips where you only need a blazer for one night? Or, maybe it's a more active trip that will also include a few nice meals. This is where the Telex shines because our smallest, lightest blazer is an easy add to any travel bag.
Meet the Telex, our newest, most modern featherweight blazer.
Take a look...
Meet The Fabric
Our Telex fabric is our lightest weight blazer to date. Clocking in at just 14 oz, it's a breeze to pack for any trip, and feels almost weightless on. Durable and wrinkle resistant thanks to its subtle ripstop construction, the Telex features 4-way stretch for comfort, plus C0 DWR for non-toxic water repellency. It's designed to come out of your bag looking great, everytime.
Durable ripstop polyester/elastane blend
Machine washable
C0 DWR water repellency
Ultra lightweight, unstructured construction (4.25 oz per yard)
Why doesn't everyone make an ultra-light jacket? Because it's a challenge to perfect the drape. With the Telex, we selected just the right fabric to produce a lightweight garment that hangs like a traditional blazer.

Button Closure pocket (internal)
The Telex blazer has 7 total pockets: 3 external and 4 internal. The front features a classic welt pocket on the left chest as well as two on either hip.
An inside button pocket on the left chest and a zippered pocket on the right are where wallets and phones typically go. While two stash pockets on the lower front (one with a zipper for security) are great places for all the accessories that go with travel.
Made as a deconstructed technical jacket, our Telex blazer has a butterfly half lining, single back vent and unlined functioning button sleeves.
Ways To Wear It
The Telex comes in three easy colors: Digital Blue, Carbon Grey, and Component Black.
From our lightweight Envoy pants to the rugged casual vibe of our Departure Denim, the Telex pairs well with the rest of your closet. Maybe you own our Ascender chinos? It goes with those too.
It's a travel blazer you can throw over any t-shirt, dress shirt or hoodie and look good, no matter what. It obliterates the question: do I have room for a blazer in my bag?
On A Motorbike Across Morocco
On a motorbike trip across Morocco, when everything had to fit in a milk crate strapped to the back of my bike, the Telex came along.
Although I brought it for the pockets (and to block the wind and the sun) there was another benefit. At night, when we looked for a place to sleep, sometimes that meant overnighting in people's homes, while others it meant staying in beautiful, stylish riads.
One evening stands out. We made a dramatic entrance by ROARING our engines to get up the steep, rocky driveway of a swank mountain lodge, disturbing the guests having cocktails on the patio. Whoops.
But a half hour later, I entered the dining room, wearing a blazer. Wow.
The Telex is ready to be stuffed in your bag, race across Morocco, and get the chain grease out in the washing machine back home.
