Meet the Trevi Blazer

On the men’s side of our line, the Gramercy blazer (and then suit, thanks to matching pants) has become our hero product. Because a lot of us still have to (or want to) wear a blazer pretty often. We just wanted it to be better than the other dry clean only, difficult to pack, easy to overheat blazer options.

Now, women can finally have a better blazer by Bluffworks, too. Introducing: the Trevi blazer.

(Edit: after selling out of the Trevi, we're working on some new updated blazer styles. Unfortunately, we can't confirm a date yet, but if you're on our email list, we'll be sure to let you know.)

Most blazers for women apparently aren’t designed for women who travel, sweat, or need to carry their phone. In our women’s survey, we heard the same complaints and requests that we’ve gotten from our guys over the years.

Everything we make is designed to empower your and our everyday adventures — easy care clothes so we don’t have to fuss with extra time or money, soft and breathable and stretchy enough that we actually enjoy wearing them, and designed with practical pockets so we can carry what we need.

We call these the Bluffworks Benefits. And we made sure our first women's blazer jacket has all of those features.

We think it might just be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

Meet the Fabric

Meet the Trevi Blazer

  • 98% Polyester, 2% Spandex
  • Machine washable
  • All-season twill weave with wicking and odor control
  • Underarm lining with anti-odor treatment

Our Trevi fabric is an easy care, stretch material that wicks away moisture, breathes well, and has a super soft handfeel. We added a little extra underarm lining with anti-odor control, so you’ll feel fresh even if you break a sweat.

It’s also wrinkle resistant so you can wear it all day, and it’s ready to go straight from your bag on a trip. It’s critical that all of our products are machine washable, don’t require an iron, and never need dry cleaning — because we know you have better (and more fun) things to do than spend time caring for your clothing.

And thanks to the versatile, professional aesthetic of this fabric, we used it for three garments in our women’s line: dress, ankle pants, and blazer. The Trevi products all pair together as stylish suit separates, for an effortless capsule wardrobe of women's workwear.

Meet the Pockets

The Trevi Blazer's pockets

A few of our favorite pockets:

  1. Two exterior pockets with invisible zippers
  2. Hidden interior zippered pocket
  3. Elastic interior stretch pocket

It’s crazy how rare it still is to find work attire for women that looks good and also has functional pockets. It was a top priority that our blazer have practical pockets, designed in a way that would fit the things you need, while maintaining a flattering silhouette.

The Trevi blazer features a total of eight pockets. On the front outside pockets, we added invisible zippers, so you can securely carry your things without worrying about them falling out. And the pockets are deep enough to fit a phone.

Inside the blazer, we hid a card / money pocket under the lapel. There are two zippered security pockets, a stretch pocket, and a segmented triple pocket. So you can comfortably carry your phone, passport, glasses, and more — safely and discreetly.

Wearing the Trevi Blazer in Italy

It was important to us that this blazer fit your needs and lifestyle, not the other way around. Removable pads allow you to customize the look of the shoulders, slitted cuffs make it easy to roll up the sleeves, and the pockets keep your valuables secure but at your fingertips.

The Trevi blazer was designed to support and enhance your everyday wardrobe. It’s stylish and professional for work outfits, yet pairs just as perfectly with jeans and a t-shirt for weekend and casual wear. It’s your new go-everywhere essential.

We took it on a trip to Italy last summer, and it looked amazing in the streets of Florence. Plus, it made it possible to wander the city without a bag, thanks to practical pockets where we could securely stash some money and a phone. And because it’s so comfortable, it was an easy cozy layer on trains and planes.

Hopefully, it becomes your new favorite blazer. We can’t wait to hear what you think of it.

Bluff on,
