Meet the Ascender Jogger

Fabric is what drives our product development – you might say we’re obsessed with it. The first step in making products that can go anywhere and keep up with our adventures is ensuring the fabric has all the technical capabilities we expect.

You can’t imagine how many fabrics we reject.

Finding a material with the perfect balance of performance, comfort, and quality look is a continual process of testing and R&D. So when we fell in love with what we now call our Ascender fabric – and the Ascender Chinos and Ascender 5 Pocket Pants were met with rave reviews – we knew we wanted to make more products out of it.

Enter the Ascender Jogger: our most casual pant to date, this stylish men’s jogger has a tailored style that’s all about comfort. The roomier fit and feel allows for easy movement, and the comfortable drawstring waistband won’t bunch or roll. Plus, with all of the benefits of our Ascender fabric – including two-way stretch and moisture wicking, wrinkle resistant superpowers – these smart casual joggers are a step ahead.

Meet the Fabric

During our wear testing, this fabric outdid everything else we sampled. Our Ascender fabric is soft and features built-in stretch so it’s incredibly comfortable to wear, but it also boasts impressive technical performance:

100% technical polyester twill.
Wrinkle-resistant and breathable.
Moisture-wicking, quick-dry, anti-microbial.
Machine-washable. Line or tumble dry.
Lightweight 5.31 oz per yard fabric.

It wicks moisture and repels water. It resists wrinkles and odors. Plus, it’s lightweight and breathable – in a package that feels substantial and soft.

With a matte finish that takes on color beautifully, you can feel comfortable styling these with the rest of your wardrobe. And since we know that comfort is key, these joggers are made super soft and move easily with a comfortable drawstring waistband.

We’re launching with three neutral earth tones - Midnight Navy, Faded Olive, and Voyager Grey, that will pair well with the rest of your closet (and our product line), from t-shirts to blazers.

These joggers include 7 total pockets (5 external pockets with 2 internal). The simplified pocket profile fits the more casual style without sacrificing usability, and we increased the comfort level with an elastic drawcord waistband, and a roomier fit through the hip.

With a tailored, tapered fit available in S-XL sizing, these joggers will be made in two lengths – Regular (29”) and Long (32”), so you can cuff them or wear them unrolled depending on your height and preference.
